Camel Ride
The Merzouga sunset tour begins around 5:30 pm depends on season. It takes almost half an hour to reach the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi on top of a camel. Then, we will leave the camels in about 80 meters to reach the highest dune of Merzouga.
For those who want to see a panoramic view they must climb to the top, it will take them another 10 minutes. If you prefer not to hike up the highest dunes, the area around the camel “parking” is perfect to watch the sunset. After having to enjoy that short time we travel back to the village.

Sandboarding
Sandboarding is a table sport similar to snowboarding. It is a recreational activity and occurs in sand dunes instead of snow-capped mountains. This boardsport has adherents throughout the world, more frequent in desert areas or coastal areas with the dunes of the beach.
It involves riding a horse through or down a dune while standing with both feet tied to a board, although some sandboards use a board with no bindings. It is less popular than snowboarding, partly because it is very difficult to build a mechanized ski lift on a sand dune, and so participants usually have to walk back to the top.
